Private Lessons (in person)
Jim offers private one-on-one lessons at the rate of $100 per hour. He accepts students of all levels, but scheduling for these are extremely limited. These lessons are taught at Jim’s Drum Dojo percussion studio in Goodlettsville, but when Jim is “on tour” he frequently teaches private lessons at music stores, drum shops and music schools around the country.
Skype/Facetime Lessons
Jim is now able to teach one-on-one private lessons to anyone around the globe with this amazing technology. Skype/Facetime lessons are $100
per hour and can be paid for via paypal.
Drum Dojo Weekend
Drum Dojo Weekend is a 3 day camp where drummers of all ages can come to study a variety of subjects that are designed to make the attendees more accomplished and successful musicians. The Tuition is $850.00 and includes lunch each day and snacks. Local accommodations are not provided but a list of local hotels will be provided. Drum Dojo Academy
The Drum Dojo is an academy for percussionists from grades 6-12. Lessons are taught in a group setting (3-5) and students study Snare drum, Keyboard, Timpani, Latin percussion, as well as all styles of drum set. Students are required to be a part of their school band program and of course must be in a reasonable driving distance to Jim’s Goodlettsville percussion studio. Lessons are held weekly and are only $25 per hour.
